Congratulations to Ryan Gueldener and Ted Harms who recently earned their master’s degree from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville (SIUE)!
Ryan obtained a Master of Science in Civil Engineering with an emphasis in Transportation Engineering. He joined Oates as an intern in 2018 and became a full-time associate project engineer in 2019 after graduating from SIUE with his bachelor’s in civil engineering. At Oates Associates, Ryan focuses on trail planning and design, bridge-related drafting, parking lot and site development tasks and data collection. He is also marking his fifth anniversary with the company this month.
Ted earned a Master of Science in Civil Engineering with an emphasis in Structural Engineering. Ted’s journey began at Oates in 2019 when he completed his senior design project under the guidance of the bridge team while obtaining his bachelor’s degree. In 2020, he joined full-time upon graduation from SIUE. As an associate project engineer, Ted is involved with new design, rehabilitation, reconstruction of bridges and other structures. He is also experienced in construction inspection and administration services.
