The Illinois Professional Land Surveyors Association (IPLSA) advances the land surveying profession by advocating for land surveyors, increasing awareness and providing educational opportunities. At this week’s annual IPLSA conference, Andy Mueller, PE, PLS was honored for recently earning his Professional Land Surveyor license. Andy was also sworn in as President Elect of the Southwest Chapter of IPLSA.
Andy is an integral member of the survey team at Oates Associates, serving as the survey coordinator and drone program manager. He is also licensed as a Professional Engineer and holds a Remote Pilot Certificate from the Federal Aviation Administration, which is the needed credential to operate a drone.
