Karen is an established engineer and project manager with a career spanning 30 years in transportation.  As a former field engineer in local roads with the Illinois Department of Transportation, Karen brings a deep understanding of infrastructure challenges and opportunities within local transportation networks.  From planning, programming, and engineering through to administration, she has worked extensively with communities to enhance traffic flow, safety, and connectivity.
