Oates Associates recently participated in the 38th Annual Belleville Chili Cook-off and raised $1,600 in donations towards animal protection. All proceeds were donated to the Belleville Area Humane Society (BAHS). BAHS improves the lives of animals through adoption and education – and finds homes for over 800 pets annually.
Hosted by the Greater Belleville Chamber of Commerce, the Belleville Chili Cook-off is a two-day festival where individuals and participants from area organizations feature their culinary creations. This event is one of the largest festivals in the city! Over half of the vendors are nonprofits or businesses raising money for a charity, making this event the biggest fundraiser of the year for several organizations.
We’d like to give a big thanks to Associate Project Manager Matt Fields for organizing our participation in this event and all of the Oates volunteers who helped to make this event a success. We can’t wait to come back next year!
