Oates Associates is honored to have taken part in the rehabilitation of I-255.  The concept of a complete closure was used to improve the interstate, which resulted in keeping motorists and workers safe, completing construction in 9 months instead of 4 years and $14 million in savings.  The Illinois Department of Transportation, Oates Associates and Horner & Shifrin received an Honor Award from the American Council of Engineering Companies of Illinois for our work with the traffic study and rehabilitation.  Read more about the I-255 project here.
