Project manager Tom Cissell was one of twenty-five industry judges for the Senior Design Project Competition Day. The competition is hosted by the Southern Illinois University Edwardsville (SIUE) School of Engineering. Students worked in teams to design innovative concepts for real-world projects. Teams worked with project mentors from local engineering companies and public agencies.
As a member of the SIUE Industrial and Professional Advisory Councils, Tom provided insightful input and questions as a judge. Judges selected the top teams from each department, which included Civil Engineering, Computer Science, Construction Management, Electrical and Computer Engineering, Industrial Engineering, and Mechanical and Mechatronics Engineering.
