As Oates Associates’ portfolio continues to grow, so does the need for talented staff. We are happy to welcome Scott Feldt, Samuel Pappas, and Nicholas de Jong to the team.
Scott Feldt, LEED AP BD+C and Samuel Pappas have joined the Transportation Group and will assist with roadway, streetscape, and trail projects. Scott is a former construction project manager and has worked on projects from estimating through to construction completion. Prior to working for a contracting firm, he was a traffic intern with the St. Louis District of the Missouri Department of Transportation.
Sam Pappas graduated from St. Louis University with a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering and a minor in International Business. He worked with the Illinois Department of Transportation as a summer technician in District 8 and also completed an internship with the Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District.
Nicholas de Jong graduated from the University of Central Missouri, and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Design and Drafting Technology with a minor in Construction Management. He has interned as a drafting technician for engineering consulting firms, and is currently in the process of attaining his ADA Coordination Certification from the Great Plains ADA Center. With his multi-faceted background, Nick will assist the survey, construction, and transportation departments.
