Troy Park N Ride Lot

Madison County Transit has several Park N Ride lots throughout Madison County that allow travelers to park at no cost and commute via public transportation.  The new 180 space Park N Ride Lot in Troy links Troy to Highland and St. Louis via the “Highland Express” bus route.  Features of the new commuter lot include parking areas, sidewalks, lighting, surveillance, landscaping, signalized pedestrian crossings, and a passenger shelter with restroom facilities and bike lockers.

The Park N Ride lot provides connections to other transportation modes, such as bicycling and walking.  New sidewalks were constructed along the adjoining street network to connect pedestrians to downtown Troy.  A new multi-use path along US 40 connects bicyclists and other pedestrians to the Tri-Township Park.

Oates Associates provided civil and structural engineering and survey services.  The project was partially funded by the Federal Transit Administration (FTA).
