To improve truck access through this industrial area, a new corridor is proposed to connect Fee Fee Road to Dorsett Road by extending the existing Adie Road and tying into Metro Boulevard.  The existing pavement will be fully reconstructed on each section of roadway.

Proposed improvements include a new two-way roadway with a center turn lane, sidewalks, and enclosed storm sewers.  Traffic signal modifications will be completed at the intersection of Dorsett Road and signal heads on Metro Boulevard will be replaced to account for the new left turn lane.  This project requires right-of-way acquisition, including the acquisition of one building, which will be demolished to allow for the new roadway connection.

Oates Associates was selected to provide topographic survey, an alignment study, preliminary plans, right-of-way plans, easement and right-of-way documents, final plans and PS&E documents.
