Ronald Reagan Drive Sidewalk

The sidewalks along Ronald Reagan Drive provide pedestrian access to Boulevard Park and Green Tree Elementary School. The sidewalks along this route are also heavily used by pedestrians living in the neighboring subdivisions for exercise and to travel to and from the commercial district located on Ronald Reagan Drive.

The City of Lake Saint Louis engaged Oates Associates to design improvements that include new sidewalk, sidewalk reconstruction, curb ramps, and a multi-use path. The multi-use path provides pedestrian and bicycle facilities from the elementary school to an existing path. It also links to a trail system at Boulevard Park. New sidewalks provide connections within the sidewalk system and the reconstruction of sidewalks improve deteriorated facilities.

Oates Associates’ services included field survey; sidewalk and curb ramp design; preliminary plan preparation; right of way plans; parcel plats; and plans, specifications, and estimates.
