Due to deteriorating pavement, Stablestone Drive was reconstructed from Ladue Road to Olive Boulevard. Improvements for this federally funded project included replacement of pavement, curb and gutter and drainage improvements. As part of the reconstruction, traffic calming options were investigated and incorporated into the final plans to reduce vehicular speeds and increase pedestrian safety. Traffic calming features include bump outs at intersections and midblock striping. The pedestrian facilities were also upgraded to meet the current ADA requirements.
Our services included roadway and drainage design; plans, specifications and estimates including traffic staging plans, erosion control plans; and construction testing and observation.
