Oates Associates is pleased to announce that Octavio Ramirez-Guajardo has officially joined the team!
Octavio recently graduated from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville where he earned his bachelor’s degree in civil engineering. He has been involved with Oates Associates since he joined the firm as an intern in 2021. During his internship, he engaged in projects under our transportation and bridge structural groups.
Additionally, Octavio previously interned for the St. Clair County Highway Department where he was involved in reviewing plans and assisted with surveying.
As an associate project engineer, Octavio is involved with structural design and plan production of bridges, retaining walls and culverts.
