Oates Associates, a civil and structural engineering firm, is excited to welcome five new employees who will support the firm’s continued growth and success. Among them are Kevin Botterbush, Ben Grapperhaus, Patrick McCance, Sam Schlegl, and Ben Taul – all of whom recently graduated from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville with a degree in civil engineering.
Botterbush and Grapperhaus will support transportation, McCance will support bridge structural, Schlegl is focused within building structural, and Taul will work within the civil/site discipline. Four of these junior engineers previously interned with Oates, gaining valuable hands-on experience that allows them to hit the ground running in their new position at Oates. With the addition of all these budding engineers, Oates is excited to see them grow as the firm continues to deliver impactful engineering solutions to local communities.
