Oates Associates recently participated in the 39th Annual Belleville Chili Cook-off and raised $3,000 in funds to support animal welfare. This year, all proceeds were donated to the Belleville Area Humane Society (BAHS). BAHS improves the lives of animals through adoption and education – and finds homes for over 1,000 pets annually.
The Belleville Chili Cook-off, organized by the Greater Belleville Chamber of Commerce, is a two-day event showcasing culinary creations from individuals and participants from area organizations. This event is one of the largest festivals in the city! More than half of the vendors are businesses and organizations supporting a charity, making it the biggest fundraiser of the year for several nonprofits.
We’d like to thank all the Oates volunteers who helped organize our participation in this event and made it a success. We can’t wait for next year!
