The Outdoor Recreation Sports Complex, known as the RecPlex, is home to intramural and club sports at Southern Illinois University Edwardsville.  Oates Associates worked with the University to replace the natural grass soccer/football and softball fields at the RecPlex with synthetic turf to prevent rainouts and enhance the play experience.  Tom Cissell, Tyler Huffman and Ema Stendback of Oates Associates along with SIUE Campus Recreation, administrators and students attended the official debut of the fields on March 20, 2018.
