Oates Associates: Engineering + Architecture

In 1992, Olin Credit Union opened a branch location in Godfrey, Illinois. The facility was located in a strip mall and did not offer an ATM and drive-up lanes. To provide customers with these amenities, it was decided to build a new facility in Godfrey.

Oates Associates provided structural design and detailing for the new 8,900 square foot single story wood building with a drive through canopy. The roof structure consists of wood I-joists supported by wood bearing walls and steel beams. The full-service banking facility features a lobby, office space, a customer service center and an internet café for customers.
