Damiansville Elementary School District #62 is in dire need of space to accommodate current enrollment and future projected growth. The district’s current facilities include a main building, which houses classrooms, a cafeteria, a library and an administration office, plus two “temporary” classroom buildings that were constructed in the 1960s.
To provide a learning environment that encourages educational exploration, fosters growth and provides a safe haven for students, the district selected Oates Associates to design an 8-classroom addition. The addition will complement the existing main building and will provide ADA accommodations as well as connections to the main building and the existing gymnasium.
Oates Associates is providing architectural, civil and structural services.
