July 2008 - Oates Associates Welcomes New Faces

Joel Italiano, Traffic Signal Operations Specialist, brings to Oates Associates several years of experience in transportation design and drafting. He previously worked with the Illinois Department of Transportation and other area engineering firms. Mr. Italiano’s responsibilities at Oates will include traffic signal and intersection design, as well as work on other transportation facilities.

Jason Dreyer, a recent Southern Illinois University Edwardsville graduate, joins Oates Associates as a junior engineer. Prior to joining Oates, he was a teaching assistant for the Department of Civil Engineering at SIUE. Mr. Dreyer will support the firm’s structural engineering department, initially working on bridge replacement projects.

In response to the firm’s expanding client base, Cheryl Ross was brought on board as the Marketing Coordinator. Previously, Ms. Ross supported the marketing effort at an architectural firm.
