Mr. Goepfert is a firm principal and senior civil engineer for Oates Associates. He is responsible for the firm’s municipal street and storm sewer projects in Illinois. Mr. Goepfert has over 25 years experience in survey planning, design operation and construction of municipal road projects ranging in complexity from street resurfacing to new roads on new alignments. He is familiar with the requirements of federal, state and local funding agencies. Projects currently under his direction as project manager include:

• South 59th Street, Belleville, IL — Reconstruction and realignment of 2,300 feet of South 59^th Street and the milling and resurfacing of 1,300 feet of West Main Street including a new at-grade railroad crossing and traffic signals.
• Governors' Parkway (IL Route 159 to IL Route 143), Edwardsville, IL - Construct new road along new alignment to provide 2 through-traffic lanes and a bi-directional left turn lane and traffic signals.
• 45th Street (Wells By Pass), Mt. Vernon, IL - Reconstruction of 1-mile urban roadway to provide two through traffic lanes and a bi-directional left turn lane.
• Poplar Street, Highland, IL - Widening and resurfacing of 0.6 miles of existing urban street, including two new roundabout intersections.
• Goshen Road, Edwardsville, IL — Reconstruction of 4,400 feet of urban roadway.
  

He has significant experience in urban and rural roadway, intersection, traffic signal, storm sewer and mine reclamation projects. The following jobs were previously completed under his direction:

• Troxler Avenue & IL Route 160, Highland, IL — Reconstruction of 3,200 feet of existing Troxler Avenue and the widening of 1,400 feet of IL Route 160.
• Koepfli Lane / Troxler Avenue and Illinois Route 143, Highland, IL - Reconstruction/realignment of 1.2 miles of urban roadway with intersection improvement(s), traffic signals, widening/resurfacing 0.9 miles of State Route 143 and widening 0.3 miles of State Route 160.
• Saxton Walnut Grove & Saxton SM-12, Saline County, IL - Reclamation of 900 acres at 2 abandoned mine sites.
• Park Hill Drive Over Laurel Branch, Highland, IL - Construct new three-sided precast concrete bridge structure.
• Seven Hills Road, O'Fallon, IL - One mile extension of arterial highway with new railroad grade separation structure and traffic signals.
• Greenmount Road (Little Oak Lane), St. Clair County, IL — Reconstruction / Realignment of 2.27 miles of rural roadway with two intersection improvements, traffic signals and an at-grade railroad crossing.
• Southwind Drive, St. Clair Township, IL - Reconstruction of 0.4 miles of rural roadway.
• Meet the Need, Belleville, IL - Construction of 6 new tennis courts and parking facilities at Althoff Catholic High School and reconstruction of existing tennis courts at Belleville West High School.
