Mr. Burke is a senior planner at Oates Associates, directing the planning and landscape architectural operations of the firm. He brings advanced design and planning knowledge to projects as both a leader and as a collaborator. As a planner and a landscape architect, Mr. Burke has experience in site planning, streetscape design, master planning, smart growth planning, comprehensive planning and landscape architectural design.
In addition, Mr. Burke has specialized experience in community and neighborhood public participation workshops and the facilitation of public engagement sessions. He has served on the Southwestern Illinois Leadership Council Board of Directors, Glen Carbon, IL Planning and Zoning Commission, the University of Arkansas Professional Advisory Board and the American Society of Landscape Architects as Past President.
